Laser Shot Accepted into the U.S. Army WSD & JFT Marketplace

Laser Shot is proud to announce its acceptance into the U.S. Army Weapons Systems Division (WSD) and Joint Fires Trainer (JFT) Marketplace, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued commitment to advancing military training and simulation technologies.

Acceptance into both marketplaces positions Laser Shot among a select group of industry partners offering commercially available (COTS) training systems that are immediately available to support Army training requirements. It represents more than 25 years of engineering excellence, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to developing realistic, mission-ready simulation technologies that meet the demands of an ever-evolving battlefield.

Following this achievement, Laser Shot was also invited to participate in the U.S. Army Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) Marketplace with its Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) training solution, further expanding the company’s support of emerging Army modernization initiatives. As drone threats continue to reshape modern warfare, Laser Shot’s current COTS capability enables Soldiers to train today against realistic aerial threats through immersive detection, identification, tracking, reporting, and engagement scenarios.

This achievement reflects more than where Laser Shot is today—it highlights where we are headed.

Building upon its current COTS capabilities, Laser Shot is actively engineering the next generation of military training technologies, including advanced C-UAS simulation, First-Person View (FPV) drone pilot training environments, AI-driven battlefield behaviors, enhanced mission rehearsal capabilities, and emerging drone engagement technologies. Together, these initiatives are designed to create a comprehensive training ecosystem that prepares Soldiers for the rapidly evolving drone threat environment.

Beyond developing training systems, Laser Shot is establishing a digital proving ground where current and future C-UAS technologies can be evaluated, integrated, and refined before operational fielding. This environment enables government and industry partners to rapidly assess emerging tactics, techniques, procedures, sensors, effectors, and other evolving technologies—accelerating innovation while reducing development risk.

“This acceptance is an exciting milestone for our company and a testament to the dedication and innovation of our entire team,” said Paige Manard, President of Laser Shot. “Our mission has always been to provide the most realistic, effective, and operationally relevant training solutions possible. Being accepted into both the WSD and JFT Marketplace reflects the confidence placed in our technology and reinforces our commitment to supporting the U.S. military with cutting-edge simulation capabilities.”

For more than 25 years, Laser Shot has partnered with military, law enforcement, and commercial customers to develop realistic training solutions that improve readiness while reducing costs and increasing accessibility. As the operational environment continues to evolve, Laser Shot remains committed to delivering innovative, mission-ready training technologies that prepare today’s warfighters for tomorrow’s challenges.

The future of military training is evolving—and Laser Shot is proud to help lead the way.
